17 Year Old applying for B2 Visa

I'm a 17-year-old student from Italy and I have the opportunity to participate in an international program related to international law. Since I am a Romanian citizen, I need to apply for a B2 visa, as advised by the organization.

I have a few questions:

1. What additional documents are required for a minor compared to an adult applying for a B2 visa?
2. Is a parent’s presence mandatory during the interview?
3. How does proof of sufficient funds work? Most of the program costs are covered by the organization. How can I demonstrate that I will have enough money for the trip?
