becoming new glider parents
hi!! i’m adopting 3 gliders fairly soon and i’ve been doing research for literally half my life (im 27 and i’ve wanted gliders since i was 13), i have the proper sized cage, toys, everything they need and the person rehoming them has shown me their favorite TPG blends and is sending me home with whatever she has left over when my partner and i pick them up and giving us all of the supplies she has for them excluding the cage since i have one already and plan on upgrading it already.
i’ve even made a like 10 page care sheet for my partner an family if im ever out of town so they know what to do an i’ll show them everything from feeding to handling to emergencies and which vet to call just in case.
but i still feel so nervous. would anyone have any tips for things i could have missed. i know everything they can and cant eat an what plants are toxic and what not i just want to make sure the transition is smooth for them. two of them are 2 years old and one is 3 years old and all boys. i believe all are neutered and come from a very loving home. they’ll also have their own room since there’s other animals in the family home to keep them extra safe from any potential contamination
