Hello my beautiful people🤌🏻since years i'm working on this collection playlist & it became the free time project i'm most passionate with! However, this is what came out so far:
+37 hours consisting of almost over 600 songs. After some changes, especially since my thorough researches about the musical style of emo, the subgenres of genres which got invented out of it and the definitions of what's emo*¹ and the diversity within but also in creativity*² in general.
You can share it wherever and
to whomever you want✅
Tell me your opinions, suggest &help me to improve - if you like to!♥️

*¹: My definition of "Emo" as style is based on the characteristics that distinguished the so-called "Emocore" artists of Washington, D.C. from other Hardcore bands, especially those who were with them altogether in the Revolution Summer Movement. These stylistic characteristics were eventually transferred to and blended with other genres, thus creating the "emo subgenres" of each genre. It should also be noted that a large portion of the playlist consists of mixed-genre emo tracks. So whether a song is genre-technically emo enough to be considered within the emo framework remains subjective, to a certain extent.
*²: Not all bands in this playlist are "emo bands"; some artists have only written one emo album or even one emo song in their entire discography.
