Im planning on getting my first "definitive" cockpit and need some help

After some research i've come to the conclusion that the Sim‑Lab GT1 Evo is the best option. However i have some questions.

1. I've seen some images where the monitor seems to be quite far from the seat when using the GT1 Integrated Vario™ Single, but it also looks like it can be adapted so that the monitor stays between the base and the wheel, is it true? can i get it closer?

2. How does the seat mount? im planning on reusing my gamer chair and buy an office chair to swap it. But from the videos i've seen i cannot see how the seat is supposed to be mounted if it doesnt have the screws on the sides. Can it be mounted from below? Should i just buy a compatible seat and forget about it? Which seat is generally recommended?
