Does a windshield replacement have to be through Mazda?

Rock hit my 2025 CX5 windshield passenger side. It’s got about a nickel sized chip the glass and a large crack that continues to spread over the past month. I do have a HUD.

I plan on calling State Farm tomorrow. Do I have to go through Mazda to get a replacement? Or could I use another service?

Reason I ask, I have a family member who had a Honda windshield replaced, apparently it wasn’t a “Honda” windshield, so when they went to get something else worked on near the rear view mirror, Honda wouldn’t do it because the windshield wasn’t certified or whatever.
