Found my old DMC-GX85 - sell or keep?
Bought the DMC-GX85 camera in 2019. I have the 12-32 and 45-150 Lumix lens that came with the bundle. It was $490 back then.
I forgot about it and completely thought I left it on one of my previous trips or old apartments since I've moved 3 times, but I just found it after digging through storage.
Since then, I've been using a Sony A7 III with a handful of lenses I've bought over the past 2 years.
It's a nice size, I'll admit, but I don't know when I'd actually use it vs. just pulling out the A7. I haven't been in a situation where I felt the A7 was too big and I wish I had this smaller frame instead.
I saw that it still goes for $440 - $500 used for just the frame, maybe up t0 $600+ with both lenses - so it must be a fantastic camera. I can't remember too much of the research I did back then, but I must have done some. I'm an amateur and don't get too deep in the weeds on specs or capabilities or being a professional. Really I mostly take the camera out for the annual vacation, for my wedding next month, or to take pics of the doges on a nice day.
So... get $450 - $600 for it, or keep it for a rainy day? Is it a stonk that will only go up? I'm amazed it's kept basically it's whole value 6 years later.
