Can't pass SMS 2FA to get my tax form
Hi everyone, I’m in a unique bind and hope someone can advise.
The Situation:
I have permanently left the US and no longer have a working US phone number.
My account is active (not deactivated).
I know my username and password.
I still have access to the email on file.
The Problem:
When I try to log in to download my tax form, the app asks for an SMS verification code sent to my old US number, which is disconnected. I have no way to receive this text.
Why I can't use standard options:
Mail: I don't live at the address on file anymore (since I moved abroad), so I can't receive the paper form.
DDI Portal: I tried accessing my.ddiwork.com to update my info, but the site simply won't load for me (it times out). I also tried using a VPN with a US IP address and accessing the site in incognito/private browsing mode, but I still consistently receive the error: "Web server is down. Error code 521."
Support: I emailed sparksupport@custhelp.com 3 weeks ago explaining I'm abroad and just need the tax form via email. Zero response.
Has anyone successfully switched their 2FA from SMS to Email without being able to log in first? Or is there a specific contact for the tax department that handles drivers who have left the country?
Thanks!
