Conundrum of love - something I wrote just now from a heartbreak I have been dealing with
I often wonder what is it about my love that wrote this hauntingly beautiful story. A love that drew you away and a love that has kept my heart tugged towards you. I loved and I fell in it, with all risks taken but without a safety net, because you, were my net. My safety, my home. Your yes was my home. I am not calculative, I don't measure the risks, the pros and the cons. So I loved, wholely, crazily and completely, but I loved without a ground. Without roots that could hold you, so you left. I thought you were my sun, you truly were. But I could have been a sun too, shining in my own sense. I could have let myself be alive and breathing too but I didn't. I orbitted you, happily, knowingly, lovingly but stupidly. I lost my own axis, my anchor, and I drowned. Ironically, my hometown doesn't suffice my incompetencies of complete surrender to water. Weirdly enough, I lived upto my name. I am what remains when nothing else does, the remnant of something that existed once. A remnant of us.
Ps. my hometown is a place where breath meets silence, somewhere close to a water body.
Also, to anyone wondering, my name has something to do with ashes.
