Only part of house is out

My question is, we plugged in a heater in my daughter's room and it blew the breaker. I then turned all the breakers off the on. It didn't reset that part of the house. Is it possible that the breaker needs replaced? And electrician came out and said there must be an other panel behind a wall. That makes zero sense to me so what do you think?
