First time out on a boat on the ocean. Need some tips!

So I have no idea how to setup my gear for a day trip on a boat. I have a trolling rod and reel and two other rod reel setups that I believe are big enough for deeper water. One being a 10’ rod and reel with 250’ of 30# braid and a 12’ rod with about 150’ of 25# mono. We wont be too far off the coast. Would I just rig a hi lo setup? Im assuming a c-rig would not work. Also willing to upsize reels if I need to. Plan is to go out mid march. We will be using live bait.
