Winter birds extra wave

Hello!!! Has anyone gotten the extra wave in the winter birds event yet? I'm trying to get the last bird (winter Mandarin duck), I've done the event 15 times already and no luck. I've heard it's completely random, but this is starting to get a bit weird, because none of my friends got it either yet, while we had easy luck in all the other events. Thank you!
