I'm Stuck! Any recommendations?

Guys I've been writing this slow-burn fantasy story where two best friends find themselves growing up in different ways.

One wants to remain a kid and stay in their imaginary world ,while the other wants to grow up and take life seriously,which this will be the reason that they both go on seperate ways...

But now fate has connected them again together where all their fantasies came true and now they have to fight a witch to save the world(basically the heart of the story).

But now I can't think of a way to bring these two guys together again. Their breakup was so emotional ,and I think reuniting them just like that will kill that off .

Any recommendations?
