Getting leadership experiences after undergrad

Any recommendations on how to improve on leadership after undergraduate as someone who is working full time in research laboratory and applying Summer 2027. Getting leadership through clinical volunteering can be one method but currently trying to get clinical volunteering and it will take time to Maybe be able to get into some leadership role there.

Did anyone manage to talk about leadership in their research experiences/clinical job experiences? Is teaching a good way to get leadership?
