Dandruff? Psoriasis?? What is this???

I have tried dandruff shampoos, tea tree oil treatments and nothing seems to help very much. They help a little but again, not much. This has been going on for the last few years but never as bad as now.

This seems to happen right before my period and tends to end at same time as period or a week or so after. Sometimes it happens when I’m not close to starting my period as well. It can be itchy but just slightly. It feels more irritating and slightly like a burning sensation.

Don’t have anything like it on other areas of my body, however, the inside of my nose has been dry and scabby lately as well. Not sure that has anything to do with scalp though. I’m waiting to get into a derm but it’ll be at least two months. Trying to figure out if the treatments I’m using are making it worse and if I should be using something else.
