Would a therapist remember and report when approaching a suicide date?
the title was hard to make, and it feels confusing on how to word it so I'll try my best. sorry if it makes no sense.
About june-september I talked primarily SI in my sessions, that's really it. I tried to disclose just enough to help, but not enough to go into the "reporting" territory and it failed miserably. Like fucking bad. and she had to disclose to people. Which only made the thoughts worse. like I'm set on suicide, but since that day I've never spoken about it. I refuse.
the issue I'm facing is she knows I was thinking about April 2026 for my "time-line". I never gave a specific day, and I still don't have that yet. When April approaches will she remember, and if she does which I think she wrote it down in her notes unfortunately. Will she have to disclose yet again? Even if I never speak of it since the last time. Which I believe was mid September 2025?
Will she keep kinda pressing me about the topic aswell? Like she knows me too well to know when I'm lying so I feel stuck. If she asks me around then about it, and I deny or lie and say I'm not. I feel like she'll know anyway and just disclose again.
I just don't want to have to deal with it again. it's already ruined my relationship with my family because they don't understand mental health hardly at all and told half the fucking city about it. I really cannot afford that happening, it'll just fuck everything up.
