Is it normal to feel very dizzy when recovered from the flu?

Question

I had been absent from work for about a week since my flu symptoms appeared. I went back today because my symptoms have gone away besides a cough that doesn’t bother me too much.

I don’t usually get sick and when I do I usually recover quickly from medications, so I’ve been frustrated with not being able to take meds.

Well when I went to work (I am an event security officer) I was standing for about 30 minutes and suddenly I felt like I was dizzy/light headed and wanted to pass out. I also felt exhausted from my eyes and thought my BP had dropped because of how I felt.

It’s been frustrating because a lot of the issues I have during pregnancy haven’t ever been an issue in my life. I’ve never felt like I was going to faint because of a flu.

I’m a FTM in my first pregnancy, and I don’t really know anything about pregnancy. Whenever I asked my mom about symptoms and feelings she always tells me she never had any issues during any of hers, so it feels really hard to find someone who understands or knows anything about my symptoms besides asking my OBGYN but I hardly ever see her and the meetings are very brief.
