Sordid Humor

Adam

I recently listened to the whole of Light Music for Dying People, and album by Sordid Humor that Adam sang backup on.

It’s absolutely phenomenal, borderline flawless album.

I’ve known about it for years because of Adam’s references to it in the live at town hall versions of Murder of One and Round Here,

I covered Doris Day in a band of mine, but never gave the full thing a listen.

It really reminded me of what I love about counting crows, the subtlety, the stylishness, the romance in the lyrics, the highly expressive vocals.

It’s that side of CC that I gravitate toward, less so the more folk/country elements.

Thought on Sordid Humor?
