Contemptor Dread for Crucible of Champions?

Hey folks, basically checking in and seeing if I can do as the title says. I’ve always wanted to do a chapter-specific Contemptor Dread, but I’ve been met with a lot of opposition in discussions on loadout and size for it to work as any modern dreadnought. It’s either too big for a Helbrute or too small for a Redemptor chassis. I know that models are forever, and I mainly play with friends or on a casual level, but I’ve always wanted to make sure that what I have could feasibly be used in a setting where I might be in a tournament, league, or crusade. Now with the Crucible of Champions rules, is it finally viable for me to use a Contemptor Dread for the Dreadnought/Venerable Battle Brother character archetype? I’m not really seeing guidance for modeling on the matter, and while I know the weapons loadouts list “Redemptor” in some of the options, I feel like I can model him to the height of a Redemptor with some cork on the basing and just use weapons on it that fit the loadout description. Thoughts on this? I figured since it’ll be casual rulings here it gives me an excuse to finally do the project while also being viable as long as my opponent (or the organizer for whatever type of setting) okays it, and it wouldn’t be as much of an argument as I’ve seen people have against using it as a straight up Redemptor sheet.
