Is the RP5 a good Steam Deck Alternative?

:Question:QUESTION

I'm currently in the market for a PC Handheld, mainly the Steam Deck. Well, that was until I found out about GameHub/GameNative.

Let me tell you my use case so that maybe you can advise me on what the better purchase is.

But before that, pricing:

I live in the PH, and plan to buy a used Retroid Pocket 5 if I do decide on that route. It costs around 10-13 thousand pesos(200-240USD).

If I go for the Steam Deck route, the cheapest one(LCD 256gb-512gb) I found are usually around the 18-20 thousand pesos(310-340USD).

I was also contemplating on getting the RP6, but its around 16-18 thousand pesos (280-310USD), and I don't really know if its worth that much seeing as the performance jump from RP5 to 6 doesn't seem substantial from the videos I have watched.

My use case:

I've had a Steam Deck before, but I really did not like the size and weight, so I sold that and bought a Switch Lite. However, I really miss my Steam Library, in particular, my Hollow Knight 1-2 and Hades 1-2.

I've sucked it up and have been playing on the Switch for a few months now, but with the upcoming release of Warframe on Android, the RP5 debate has really been stuck in my mind. Now that I have a bit of money to spend, I'm trying to decide on which one to get.

What I'm really trying to ask in this clustercluck of a post is: is the RP5 a good alternative to play Hades 1 and 2, Hollow Knight 1 and 2? or should I just get a Steam Deck?

Do I plan to play older systems?

I don't plan to play many retro games, maybe a few GBA romhacks here and there, but it won't be my main focus. The main focus would be Steam games like Terraria, Stardew Valley, Risk of Rain 2, MEGABONK(I am addicted to this sht), Ball X Pit, Dead Cells, Brotato etc etc. Basically Indie-esque games.

My main worries/questions:

Is the RP5 good longevity wise? I've heard problems about Android Devices slowing down after a few years of use.

Does it have enough power to run the games I want on Steam using Gamehub/GameNative?

For the people who have experienced it, does it feel like a natural experience? or does it feel like a gimmick, still?

How is the battery life if I ever do decide on doing that? I know that its an OLED and with the games I mentioned, it should be preserving a bit more since there is a lot of black pixels being used.

Closing remarks:

I'm leaning towards getting the RP5, but I have way too little knowledge about what I'm going into and whether or not its a good choice. That's why I decided to ask in this subreddit first. I hope you can give me some knowledge about my thoughts and help me decide on what to get. Thank you.
