A book about life and love with romantic elements, a true deep connection
I have always enjoyed the topic of love in media. I think it can be incredibly simple or extremely complex, and my taste for the complexity and dynamics of it has grown with the more content I ingest whether it be by film, show, book, etc.
I just finished the ‘Normal People’ show from BBC on Hulu and I have ordered the book, but if anyone is familiar - that is what I am looking for. I want something that similarly touches on a connection so profound and deeply mutual regardless of miscommunication or time apart or anything else that would impact it. I want to see the navigation of being in such a space and see development of characters in their relationship and out. It doesn’t need to have a happy needing, Normal People sure as shit didn’t.
I just want more of the way it made me feel. It made me reexamine myself and my life in ways no other piece of media has in relevance to what occurs in the store. It made me feel things profoundly about life and love I haven’t in years, if ever. I want to find a book (or even a show or film, if you know of one) that represents that similarly.
