Gigabyte quietly re-enabled PCIE Gen 5 on latest BIOS (F40) for B650 users?

Half a year ago they removed it for some sort of stability issus. Decide to update today and noticed while reconfigurung my bios that I was able to select Gen 5 for PCIE 16.

Booted up and verified with gpu-z it was running at Gen 5 speeds. Ran Steel Nomad, no improvements noted from Gen 4. Auto buos setting will lock to speeds to Gen 4.

I think I'll just leave it at gen 4 unless someone would suggest otherwise. Just curious why they decided to include it again after claiming instability issue before?
