Lightly used DF54 for $200 CAD. Worth it or better to get the newest version?

Hey all,

I came across a lightly used DF54 for $200 CAD. From the photos and what the seller said, I’m pretty sure it’s V1.

Is it worth spending extra for the newest model? Or would it make more sense to grab this one and just upgrade things like the chute and any other known weak points?

I mostly care about grind quality and consistency. If the upgrades on the newer version are more about convenience than performance, I’d probably rather save the cash.

Would love to hear your thoughts, especially if you’ve owned V1 and upgraded it.
