I understand some grew up with it, but genuinely if this shit came out today, even if it had modern Animation etc it would be mostly hated and seen as incredibly repetitive, dumb and boring, which it is.

The fans are genuinely insufferable, all they care about is how Strong Goku is, jerking themselves off whilst mentioning Goku at any chance they get when anyone dares to talk about Anime Fights. Parasocial Embodiment and or Power fantasy of course included.

These are the same people that call every new gen anime like CSM, JJK, Vinland Saga, Frieren etc Mid or Trash.

I understand that Dragon Ball was Special for the time and that it basically created Anime like we know it, and it deserves recognition for that, i really respect that.

But The Anime(s) itself? Actually Mediocre, maybe even lower.

I genuinely can’t stand the fans and the stupid glaze it gets.

Whenever someone new comes out like i dunno, Jjk season 3, everyone immediately gets on the hate train and compares the new stuff to the old.

I normally wouldn’t care, IF THE OLD STUFF WAS ACTUALLY GOOD. Sure many of these older nostalgic anime’s were good and often better than many of the new ones coming out, but Dragon Ball (as a whole.) It‘s worse.

I can’t Stand Goku either, at least some Characters have some kind of Depth to them, but Goku? he‘s not even stupid, just genuinely braindead. Incredible repetitive all around.

It‘s like everyone was brainwashed into believing this was good. It‘s not, and it never was.

I understand that some people do just like Shallow, Mediocre, One Dimensional Stuff like this. People can have their opinions and preferences, but i don’t see it.

Just needed to rant.

I hate this entire anime (not just Z) , it‘s fanbase and Goku specifically.
