My parents won’t talk to me since they saw I have a PA

my mom accidentally walked in while I was in the shower and definitely saw it. There was a solid few seconds of stunned silence before she just backed out and shut the door.

We haven’t talked about it yet and I’m not sure if I should bring it up or just let it fade into the void.

For anyone with visible or intimate piercings — did your parents ever find out unexpectedly? How did you handle it? Did you address it directly or just ignore it and move on?
