Port or New barrel and comp

Hey all I have a Gen 5-19 that I am looking to send to Wager’s machine to have optic cut and possibly have him C cut/Port. My ? Is this is a range have fun gun and was wondering if instead I should buy a threaded barrel and a comp like the Tyrant CNC. Thoughts?
