Would u get banned if u use dlc item without having a dlc?

Hi everyone,

Idk if this question is allowed here, but i have a question. I have a friend who owns elden ring on steam but doesnt have dlc. He says he wants to use cheat to get a dlc item i.e a sword and use it in base game like he doesnt want to buy dlc and everything only for that. Would he get banned for it?

TLDR: would we get banned if we use cheats to get a dlc item in base game?
