Nothing Hits Like DQ8

As a kid who grew up on Final Fantasy in the 90s, I missed out completely on the Dragon Quest series until DQ8 came out on PS2 and became one of my top games of all time.

Ever since then, no DQ has hit that same sweet spot. I just couldn't get into 11 despite forcing my way though it. 1&2 Remake was a a little fun but not inspiring enough to make me continue on with 3 Remake.

The new 7 Remake is enjoyable but I can't help but look forward to the possibility of the 3DS DQ8 version being Remade for modern platforms.
