[Online] [Other] [Long Beach, CA] [18+] [LGBTQ+ Friendly] [New Players Welcome] Draw Steel with the Stormlight Company!

Ajax, called Invincible has triumphed over the dukes of Vasloria and Good King Omund, plunging the land into an age of chaos. The roads lie fallow. The barons, now distant and isolated, fight against the wilderness to protect the last remnants of civilization.

Saint Ajax has pitted all the speaking people of Vasloria against each other. Elves, humans, and dwarves; no one trusts anyone anymore. Religion is outlawed. Only the new Church of the Iron Saint is permitted.

You are 1st-level mercenaries of the legendary Stormlight Company*; soldiers of fortune who complete their contracts by any means necessary.*

The War Dogs, Ajax’s patchwork soldiers, have been rampaging through the duchy of Rhöl, assassinating any nobility they encounter, and razing everything in their path. Nobody knows exactly what their goal is, or what the people of Rhöl have done to earn Ajax’s ire.

The Stormlight Company is currently in the employ of Lord Geriant, the Baron of Durm. Your next job is to rescue Lady Morrigan*, the court physician and Geriant’s sister,* from the Mission of Saint Llewellyn the Valiant deep in the mountains of Rhöl and return her to Durm*. For anyone else this would be an impossible task...*

However, the hardbitten soldiers of the Stormlight Company grit their teeth, do their bloody work, and bury their doubts with their dead.

Hello folks, I am interested in putting together an in-person TTRPG group in or around Long Beach, CA! My hope is to play lots of TTRPGs and rotate the role of GM between adventures, but I am excited to run the first adventure in Draw Steel!

For the first few games, we’ll rent a table at the Guild House or run online using Owlbear Rodeo. If that goes well, I’ll host future games at my place!

Here’s a link to the one-page pitch with more details about me as a GM and instructions for reaching out. Hope to game with y’all soon!
