first time potential buying questions

hi guys i found a beautiful nb miata near me in green over tan (my favorite color combo) manual with only 45k miles that is within my budget - this would be my second car coming from a shitty 03 benz e500 i bought to essentially learn everything mechanical and electrical on. i am a mechanic by occupation and can wrench on most anything by now, and am considering buying this nb or a 2015 335i xdrive 6 speed with 80k miles. my only true hangup on this miata is space. the beamer has a brand new flywheel as well as clutch and i would plan to put it back to stop power to take the strain off the trans. i know the miatas are absolute blasts to drive but having only driven my boat of a car that 335i felt absolutely amazing as well. any advice or info is super appreciated
