From Georgia to Spain: Is Empuriabrava the ultimate first jump?

hi guys

I’ve never jumped before, but after falling down a youtube rabbit hole, I’ve become obsessed with the idea of skydiving. Specifically, the videos of Empuriabrava look absolutely incredible with the coastline views.

Im currently living in Georgia and planning a trip to Spain. I’m thinking about making Empuriabrava my first-ever jump.

A few questions here:

1. Is Empuriabrava as beginner-friendly as it is beautiful?
2. For a first-timer, what are the "must-knows" before showing up?
3. Are there other dropzones in Spain (or nearby) that I should consider instead, or is this the gold standard?

Any tips on booking, the "fear factor," or things to watch out for would be greatly appreciated. Blue skies ^^
