Day 5/6 and Covid+

Hi all,

I started having covid symptoms last Wednesday and thought to test Thursday morning and it was a positive the instant I dropped the liquid in and still so this morning

Why am I feeling like such a sook to have to call out again tomorrow? 😫 Luckily don't work today

I feel like my school never took any precautions very seriously during the height of the pandemic and to be calling out with what most consider "just a cold" (I am well aware how much more serious it can be) is making me feel so self conscious because I was *that* staff member still in a mask when everyone deemed covid was "over"

Rationally I know I am doing the correct and responsible thing but can't shake this annoying feeling. I'm just looking for solidarity I suppose. Has anyone else had covid recently and how many days did you need to take off?
