I just noticed something, cmiiw

In romance anime, it is common to depict the boy and the girl having a gap in wealth. In anime marketed towards men, it is the girl who is usually much richer than the boy, and vice versa. But this anime is different. It is clearly marketed towards men but when I see this thing with Masachika's extended family, I think they are a lot richer than Alya's family. Is this true? At least that's what I see because I've only watched the anime and not read the sources so please cmiiw, thank you :)
