would 1440p be too much?

Hello, I am planning to buy GIGABYTE Radeon RX 9060 XT Gaming OC 16GB gpu for my pc with i9-10900 2.80hz cpu. I'd love to buy an 1440p monitor to compliment my new gpu but im worried that my processor does not share my excitement.. I did some research and yet I have my doubts. Should I buy 1440p screen or just stick to my 1080p?
