Trying not to freak out

tips

Work up this morning with a canker sore under my tounge like on the string line part under my tounge. It was hard to swallow and felt uncomfortable. I brushed my teeth and rinsed my mouth with salt water. Did that every few hours.

Then the membrane or the canker sore fell out, literally just came out. After it came out it was easier to swallow not painful but still uncomfortable. I look in the mirror and the right side, right under my jawline is swollen. It feels weird and uncomfortable and is still making it an uncomfortable feeling when swallowing.

Is this normal ? I’ve never in my life experienced being swollen from a canker sore nor it being under my tongue. How long until the swelling goes down ? What can I eat ? I’ve take ibuprofen to help but idk if it’s more serious like ER or urgent care
