I bought Dying Light last week, just finished the campaign today, this game is AMAZING

I came from project zomboid, looking for a zombie survival game that plays different, and I remembered seeing an ad for this game years ago.

It was on sale for only 2.99, so I just went ahead and bought it.

This game is the first one that both promotes avoiding combat when possible, and makes it fun enough to make me not brute force kill everything. Even in pz I found a way to play gun only and destroy every enemy.

The game even lets agility make combat better, so your not weak in combat when you need to.

And night is soo fun. Getting chased by an army of volatiles is really fun. I didnt use the uv flashlight until the finale in the sewers, so I dont know how well its usful at night, and the grapple hook feels op in a pursuit so I avoid it, and I just run and climb.

Using the shambling zeds to jump on to reach heights quicker, taking spesific paths using the mini map to make sure I dont get stuck in the open, jumping from building to building with only the light of my beemer to see, its really fun.

Its sometimes annoying to get a volatile to see me, but a bow or gun fixes that problem easy.

My only very mild complaint that I 100% understand why it is as it is, i wish the grapple hook was more realistic with swing and having to climb. But I 100% understand the reason for it being the way it is.

My only major complaint is lag. Even with as many settings as I could find turned down, certain areas were insanely laggy. Nothing else running either. Most of the game is fine tho.
