Tombstone's origin in Brand New Day

This is assuming the movie will trate the mutants theme. In comics, Tombstone is not a mutant, he is an albino black man who had his teeth altered and gained superpowers due to an accident. But I think all of this can be summed up in the film by saying he's a mutant. I don't feel affect his origin too much, since it's related to descrimination the other kids do because of his look, which also is in line with x-men theme.
