Jesus Christ was Homeless - Take Notes
When I see all of the humans about to be homeless (lets be real, jobs are going away for a lot of people without a backup plan) I'm filled with sorrow and compassion. I have been homeless before, and it is a real horror show if you don't know how to play it.
This is what you do: bring your gospel with you and read it like a survival guide. Jesus Christ and his disciples were homeless, so at its core it gives wonderfully practical advice.
Things like:
-
Keep moving: The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of Man hath not where to lay his head.
-
You shall love your neighbor [whoever is sitting next to you on the street] as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.
-
Take food and water: At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples hungered and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat.
IDK y'all, its Sunday, hope that helps ease someone's mind.
