Situationship says he likes me but doesn’t want a relationship but only texts when it suits him. Am I being used?

I’m 23F and he’s 26M. We’ve been seeing each other for a few months. From the beginning, he said he likes me but doesn’t want a relationship right. When we’re together, it feels good. We talk about deep things, he opens up about his ex, and he even asks what I look for in a partner. We’ve also had sex. But the part that confuses me is his communication. He mostly texts me when he wants to hang out. A lot of the time he calls or texts late at night, especially when he’s been drinking and wants emotional support or someone by his side. Outside of that, he can be inconsistent and doesn’t really check in just to talk. There are moments I feel close to him, and other moments where I feel like I’m just convenient when he’s lonely or bored. I’m starting to develop real feelings, and I don’t know if he’s emotionally unavailable and confused… or if I’m ignoring red flags and being kept around without commitment. Am I being naive here?
