your? You're?

Discussion/Question

As a non-native English speaker, I don't understand when you mix "your" and "you're" (as well as "ur" and "u r"), if it's made on purpose on not (〒﹏〒) Like, you don't bother to put the apostrophes and the spaces or you mistake the words, or, idk? 'Cause sometimes it's hard to understand introduction messages when the words are mixed up like that ╮(. ❛ ^ ❛.)╭

(P.S. I don't mean it like accusing y'all and all, it's genuine confusion😭 i love y'all guys 💓)

But, hey, friendly reminder for people that still mistake these words! (★◍•ᴗ•◍):

• "your" (shortened as "ur") is used when referring to someone's thing
—> “look, this dog looks like mine!” “because it is your dog!”

• "you're" (shortened as "u r") is the short for "you are" which is a pronoun and a verb that aims to define someone
      —> “you're short”
      —> “you're pretty”
