Purchased a Deluxe as a newbie- where are my rewards?

Hi, I played this game when it first came out for a few months, about 10 years ago? and then redownloaded the app today for my 6 year old to play. We ran out of balls so I bought a deluxe pack for £7.99 (first ever purchase) thinking it would give me 1000 coins due to it being my first purchase and that I could use to buy balls and some special balls (hold colour I think).

It’s been an hour, I’ve signed in and out and checked the website- I can’t see that we’ve had any of the rewards. No coins, no special balls. Am I correct in expecting the coins or have I wasted my money?

I bought some coins as a second purchase to get balls and this was added to my account instantly.

Is my limited understanding of the deluxe box incorrect?
