Batching PDF-ing some emails

Hi, I have a bunch of emails tagged from my Dad who passed away a few years ago. I want to save those as either one PDF or a bunch of individual PDFs. I know how to print each one individually but there are hundreds. I saw Adobe had some instructions which refer to the Gmail Backup Tool, but I cannot figure out what that is?

So far I haven't had much luck using Google Takeout to save anything in a useful format.
