If you wanna take action about the osap cuts, I drafted an email + compiled emails of student unions

OSAP

I'm worried (as we all are) about the funding being slashed and how—IF we choose to start/continue our programs—we'll be left with tens of thousands of dollars of debt upon graduation and no *interest-free* grace period cuz dumbass Doug also got rid of that years ago.

so I made a google sheet:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Hc3DiE2MOpxNlCOLnu11tvTDoJ9SeARQZJz5ice27K0/edit?usp=sharing

It has the emails I found of student unions and councils or their representatives across Ontario for colleges and universities (still building it) and wrote a draft email. We need to mobilize and take collective action.

YES, even if you are still in grade 12, you are a FUTURE postsecondary student if you want to go to a college/university, so your voice also matters.

Not many of us will remember or know this, but in 2012, HALF of the Quebec student population protested against raising tuition. their action lasted weeks and they held up strong. and they WON. their collective action resulted in the reversal of the tuition increases. we can do it too. Our education is where we should draw the line.

If you have any comments or suggestions, please lmk :)
