Hi all, I've been breaking in my new 330i and loving it. I decided against the M-sport package mainly due to not liking its aggressive aesthetics and the need for a very smooth ride in the horrible Midwest streets I'm frequenting at.

However, as it's my first BMW, I'd like to put some love to it. I've been a fan of 'sleeper' cars, as I want nobody around to know what's hiding underneath but at the same time **to feel it more responsive when I drive it, without sacrificing comfortable ride and without aggressive visuals or sounds.** Keep in mind that I'm not a sporty driver and not planning to track it or anything like that. But I'd like to enjoy a ride in the mountains if I ever get the chance and feel like I'm driving a more dynamic car.

I've asked AI (because why not), and their advice was:

**Mechanical:**

1. Replace OEM Bridgestone Turanza LS100 runflats with high performance tires (e.g. Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4) -better grip and improved comfort and noise. Probably I will, but it feels such a waste to get rid brand new good tires.

2. M Performance (or any performance-focused) alignment - better steering precision, better front grip and reduced understeer. (lowest cost mod, and somehow AI thinks it's a very big deal).

3. Sway bars (to reduce body roll without making the ride stiffer) - relatively low cost and easy DIY if it's just the front one.

4. ECU Stage 1 (get it to \~300hp and reduce 0-60 to by a second or so). Sounds cool, but I'm not willing to compromise my warranty, and so far I'm happy with the 'fast' component of my car. Maybe after 50K miles.

5. Change suspension to KW Street Comfort Coilovers or Öhlins Road & Track (DFV). The latter seems to be quite a cool piece of tech, but probably too much of an overkill for a non-racecar. I don't know how the first would compare to the stock (presumably it's softer than the M-fixed but will it compromise the softness of mine?).

**Aesthetics:**

1. De-badging (remove the xDrive and 330i badges from the back)- that sounds quite tasteful to me, and free.

2. M steering wheel (although I like the looks of it, if you add the airbag that needs to change and dealer labor, it's an extreme cost for purely aesthetic reasons, so pass).

3. Windows tint: thinking about it (mostly for UV and thermal reasons), but I'm a bit skeptical what the result of looking at the autodim mirrors through tinted glass would look like. Maybe I'll do just a super safe 50% for UV reasons.

4. Floating centercaps (maybe, I guess?)

5. Black wrap to window frames and front grill - I'm afraid my car will get super dark this way, but still a maybe.

Any other ideas or comments on the above? Also, obviously I'm not doing everything (not to mention anything) right away, so what would be a good sequence of upgrades over the next 2 years?
