Can an electrician help justify a quote of £650 for installing two Ethernet cables?
I understand tech but when it comes to installing cables and patching I haven’t got a clue so will always need someone to do it for me. I wanted two cables run from my office to two locations exterior of property. One cable is about 4 meters. The other cable about 8-10 meters. I would need them clipped and patched either end. I’m supplying the cable and the RJ45 terminators. I can install the cameras to add to my existing UniFi setup. I was quoted the grand sum of £650. Does this not sound unreasonable for what is likely an hour or twos worth of work?? Or is this justified??
