Darkness prevails over wind in a few attempts on Alice. This wasn’t nearly as hard as my previous runs and we came through it relatively easily.

We start off with murkrow to taunt away skarmorys stealth rock and then we whittle it down with night shade, roosts and taunts until it’s out of the way. She sends in crobat next, we have little health so we go ahead and taunt it before we are taken out. We put in Malamar, and go for a super power first to take off the focus band and buff, but she switches into pinsir who we then have no issue taking their health down with psycho cuts until we’re both low hp. I swap to sableye (always forgetting that mega pinsir has aerilate) so we take the feint from it. As we recover, it switch’s into gliscor, so we switch to raticate w/ gluttony and figy berry. Now getting toxic’d and switching between hyper fangs and swords dance until we KO them. And next we sucker punch a crobat who holds on with focus band and ko’s our powerful raticate. All that’s left is to pick off their remaining two pokemon. Sableye shadow sneaks crobat away, gets taken out by pinsir and Umbreon finishes it all off with a quick attack.

Now that we’ve beaten one of the tougher milestones in the early journey, we’re moving on with a lot of confidence in the dark-monotype.
