Bride asked me to be a bridesmaid then completely ghosted me on all wedding planning details and now I’m scrambling three weeks out

I was asked to be a bridesmaid back in November for a wedding happening in two weeks and I genuinely have no idea what’s going on. The bride has been completely MIA on every group chat, hasn’t responded to my individual texts asking about dress details, hair and makeup, or timeline, and I’m starting to panic.

Here’s what I know: the wedding is February 28th somewhere in upstate New York and the color scheme is burgundy. That’s literally it. I don’t know what time to show up, where we’re getting ready, if there’s a rehearsal dinner, what shoes to wear, or even what style of dress she wants. The other bridesmaids seem equally confused based on the group chat which has been radio silent from the bride for six weeks.

I ended up panic-buying a burgundy dress online last week because I figured I’d rather have something than show up empty-handed. A friend suggested looking at african bridesmaids dresses for inspiration since they often have interesting burgundy options but I just grabbed something simple off a site that I think was “ worse than alibaba”.

Is this normal? Should I be worried something’s wrong or is she just overwhelmed with planning? I want to be supportive but I also need basic information to actually show up prepared. Help?
