Luroy slats falling out of Malm frame

As title says, I’ve recently bought the Malm bed with Luroy slats and every time I move the mattress (changing sheet or ironically trying to fix slats) the slats fall down. I’m also having issues with the diagonal metal braces which could help hold them in place, but they’ve been doing this even when the braces were in place. Is there any solution like sticking them down that could keep them in place?
