Autonomous ErgoChair Pro vs ErgoChair Mesh vs Pro “Cool Mesh” (confused)
I’m trying to pick a chair and I’m a bit lost. I’m 1m80 (5’11”) and 110 kg (242 lb), so I don’t want anything that feels fragile or undersized.
- I first looked at LiberNovo, but from what I read durability seems questionable, and even the biggest model’s seat might be too small.
- I also considered FlexiSpot C7 Morpher and Sihoo Doro S300, but I keep hearing the lumbar support isn’t very precise (important to me), and maybe not ideal for a bigger guy.
- Dream chair would be a Herman Miller Embody of course, but it’s way out of budget.
Right now I’m leaning Autonomous, but I’m confused:
- I don’t want the Ultra 2. I tried it: lumbar isn’t really adjustable, sits too low for me, and the rotating armrests that you can’t lock annoy me.
Main question:
The ErgoChair Pro and ErgoChair Mesh look basically identical except the seat: Pro = more cushioned, Mesh = more breathable. Both claim 300 lb, but I assume at my weight the seat material matters a lot.
Then, on the Pro page there’s an option called “Cool Mesh”.
Is Pro + Cool Mesh mean it's the ErgoChair Mesh? If yes, why are they priced differently?
If you own any of these (especially around my size/weight), I’d love your honest take on:
- seat comfort over long sessions (pressure points)
- lumbar adjustability/precision
- durability over time
Thanks in advance.
