New Grad Nurse from FL looking to move to MD

Hi everyone I’m a New Grad in FL right now and I’m looking to move to Maryland to get my first job as a RN! I feel like Florida is very saturated with new grads so I want to move to Maryland in hopes of getting a better chance at getting a specialty I want (ED or anything Pediatrics but hopefully NICU). I also feel like Maryland may pay slightly higher than FL. I was looking to be near silver spring area or Colombia area if you’re familiar with Maryland. I was wondering if anyone had any advice or intel on how much new grads typically make around that area and if you think my chances of getting a specialty would be better or not. Thank you!
