’09 Fit — clutch engagement super high. Anyone else deal with this?

I’ve got a 2009 Fit (manual) and the clutch engagement is right at the top. I replaced the clutch about a year ago, and the old one actually looked fine but I just thought it was burned because the engagement was right at the top. The friction point is back to the last ¼” of pedal travel.

Since the Fit has a self‑adjusting clutch, I’m trying to figure out what else could cause this. Curious what other Fit owners have run into.

I replaced all the fluid, absolutely no air in line. As well the fork/slave cylinder moves quickly in and out without hesitation.

Thoughts?

• Master cylinder?

• Slave cylinder?
